Wilkie + Bruce’s trophy cabinet needs a new shelf.

Following closely on its win at the 2016 Canterbury Architecture Awards, we were thrilled that Alec Bruce’s team has won the Future Heritage award at Canterbury Heritage Awards for the Miles Warren Building at Christ’s College. The Awards were presented on 9 June.

Sir Miles was the Christ’s College architect from 1957-2000, when Alec Bruce took up the reins. And of course Sir Miles’ firm, Warren and Mahoney, designed College House in the early-1960s. You can see a 12-minute film on Sir Miles talking about the architecture of College House here.
