We reached a major milestone in the rebuild of our Main Block this week when Sir Miles' famous WM-shaped roof was carefully deconstructed and delicately craned off.

Pictures surely speak louder than words . . . see these photos taken this week – some from the safety of the ground and some, which were much more fun, from the boom lift 14m high above the quad.

Now that the WM-roof has been removed (and carefully stored until it's returned to top off the rebuilt dining hall), demolition of the old Main Block continues.
