The Study Centre has been demolished to make way for a new two-storey building. The new building will incorporate a Study Centre on the first floor and a new Student Common Room on the ground floor.

The Study Centre will be used for academic tutorials and for student events such as music nights, theatresports, debating, and drama competitions. The Study Centre will be outfitted with modern datashow, audio-visual, sound and lighting equipment. The Study Centre will also be available for conference and seminar use.

The Study Centre will be linked to the Boardroom and upstairs offices. The office space is being extended to allow for an Alumni and Development Office and other staffing needs.

The new Student Common Room will include a kitchen area for preparing snacks and will flow into an outdoor living area near the tennis courts.

Alec Bruce of Wilkie and Bruce Architects has designed the new buildings and Fletcher Construction has now begun work on building them.
