The President of the College House Association presented scholarships worth $500 each to Shane Phillips, Daniel Sheely and Rob Walker, returning students who have made significant contributions to the House this year.

Also this term Dr Shailer Weston presented the GT Weston Memorial Bursary to Blair Howarth. The bursary is worth $1000 and is also awarded to a returning student who makes a significant contribution to the College. Blair Howarth has put considerable time into coaching the women's soccer team this year. He plays for the men's soccer team and is one of the returning students who provides academic assistance for first year students at the College. GT Weston was at College House from 1895-7, was President of the College House Association from 1935-50, and was Sub Warden when College House became independent of Christ's College in 1957. The bursary was endowed by his son, Dr Weston (Houseman in 1947), and his daughter, Mrs Judith Williams.
